When I was expecting my 3rd child,

my passion for photography came

alive.  When she was born, I was so

in awe of her.  She was my miracle

baby, and I wanted to capture each

moment and milestone before it

slipped away. 

I began taking pictures of my kids and

learning while I went.  Soon, friends

were wanting me to take pictures of

their children, and it grew from there.

My children were and still are my

inspiration. 

I am self taught in photography, and truly love what I do. My goal is to create a unique photographic memory of your loved ones that exceeds your expectations.

Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep

I volunteer for NILMDTS as an affiliate photographer and also as the Utah County Area Coordinator. It’s such a wonderful organization, and teaches me so much.  I’m so happy that I signed up to help these families who suffer such a tremendous loss.  I signed up in March of 2008, and began doing NILMDTS sessions the very week I was approved.  To learn more, read below, and visit the website by clicking the banner above.

NILMDTS is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization made up of professional photographers volunteering their time and services to families that are experiencing an infant loss. At the parents request, a photographer will meet with the family at a hospital or hospice location to help parents create beautiful heirloom memories of their baby. Our photographers are dedicated to making this photography session as loving, sensitive and private as possible. Parents will be provided with a printable CD file containing images from their session and a DVD of images played to a meaningful melody. There never any fees to the parents for what NILMDTS photographers provide.

For families overcome by grief and pain, the idea of photographing their baby may not immediately occur to them. This is where Now I lay me down to sleep gently provides a helping hand and a healing heart. NILMDTS offers a vital service to our communities. Offering gentle and beautiful photography and videography services in a compassionate and sensitive manner is the heart of this organization. The soft, gentle heirloom photographs of these beautiful babies are an important part of the healing process. They allow families to honor and cherish their

babies, and share the spirits of their lives.
